The practice is party to the Health And Social Care Guide for Wales which tells you how you can get more information about healthcare services.
A copy is available at the reception desk.
Mobile Phones
Mobile phones must be switched off at all times whilst inside the surgery. Every effort must be made to adhere to this notification.
Suggestions, Complaints, & Compliments
We welcome suggestions for improving our services.
There is a ‘suggestion box’ in the reception area for this use and we would be happy to hear from you.
Should you be unhappy about any aspect of our services, we would again like to hear from you.
The practice operates within the standard NHS complaints procedure and should you wish to make a complaint the practice manager will be more than pleased to discuss the issue with you. However, if you feel that you require further advice or that your complaint needs to be referred to a higher level, please contact the Chief Executive at Swansea Local Health Board.
If you need help in making a complaint, the local Community Health Council will provide you with free advice and support.
For further information on how to deal with a complaint, leaflets are available at reception.
The practice welcomes compliments from patients. Acknowledgment of thanks for the quality service of care we continually aim to provide for our patients is much appreciated.
Emergency Calls
Outside normal surgery hours a doctor is always available to deal with emergencies.
Please telephone the surgery in the usual manner for information on how to contact the doctor or the doctors' deputising service.
After 6.30pm and during weekends and bank holidays the doctor attending will be from the OOH service.
Confidentiality and Data Protection
All members of the practice team are bound by strict rules of confidentiality.
The practice is registered under the Data Protection Act and will not divulge any patient information to anyone without the patient's express written consent.
This rule includes meeting the request for the release of any patient information to an outside third party.
The practice must have clear indication and written consent prior to the release of any information.
